KUPWARA : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan thursday chaired a meeting of Vidyalaya Management Committee to review various issues pertaining to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Potushai-Lolab.

Vice Chairman DDC (Member DDC Wavoora), Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir; MS SDH Kupwara, Dy. CEO, Principal JNV Potushai, Ex. Engineer R&B Lolab and other concerned officers attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the Principal JNV Potushai highlighted various issues of the institute which include construction of boundary wall, renovation of approach road, water problem, medical checkup of students, cutting down of tall trees, excess amount of monthly electricity bill, installation of trivector meter, cutting down of tall and dry trees and demarcation of the Vidyalaya land.

On the occasion, the DC heard the issues of the JNV patiently and issued necessary directions to the concerned officers of line departments to resolve the issues on priority.

On the demand of Principal JNV, the DC directed the MS SDH Kupwara to conduct a medical camp at the JNV for screening of the students.

The DC also suggested various measures to be taken up by the JNV School administration for improving the overall standard of the School including establishment of a good library with proper space and reading room facility.

VC DDC also spoke and assured all possible support to the JNV from his side.
