DC Kupwara inaugurates winter tutorial at GHSS Handwara.

Appeals parents to take interest in teaching their wards in winter tutorial.

KUPWARA, DECEMBER 24: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din today visited Handwara and inaugurated winter tutorial at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Handwara. DDC Member Rajwar, Mir Suliman; Chairman Muncipal Committee Handwara, Masroor Ahmad Banday and CEO Kupwara, Abdul Hamid, besides, parents were present at the occasion.
After inauguration, the Deputy Commissioner held an interactive session with parents and teachers.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that a school plays an indispensable role in making a good society adding that the school is a place where children are moulded into good and responsible human beings.

The Deputy Commissioner also said that a teacher is a nation builder who builds students into every professional of life. He directed the teachers to perform their duties religiously and prove themselves as role model for their students.

The Deputy Commissioner urged upon parents to take keen interest in the initiative and send their wards in the winter tutorial to get benefitted in large.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers for establishing a Doubt clearance cum Counseling Centre to facilitate the students in the school. He directed them to ensure availability of teachers and lecturers on rotation basis in the Centre.
Mir Suliman also spoke and highlighted the elements and components of the winter tutorial.

Other speakers including Chairman Municipal Committee and CEO Kupwara also spoke on the occasion.
