KUPWARA, NOVEMBER 18: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara today visited Bramri Drugmulla area of Kupwara district and presided over an Awareness cum public interaction camp organized by Krishi Vegyan Kendra (KVK) Kupwara.
Addressing the camp, the Deputy Commissioner said that the agriculture is the backbone of rural economy adding that the farmers need to implement the latest scientific technology and guidelines in farming so as boost their income and livelihood.
He directed the concerned officers to provide mass awareness to the farmers across the district about scientific ways of farming and improving their productivity.
Scientists from KVK Kupwara and other officers provided detailed awareness to the farmers and participants during the camp.
BDC Chairperson Drugmulla, PRIs and farmers in large number participated in the camp.
