DC Kupwara presides over one-day Scientific Exhibition at DIET Kupwara

KUPWARA : The District Institute of Education & Trainings (DIET) Kupwara today organized a one day district level Rajya Stariya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (Science Exhibition) at Bohipora Kupwara.
The event was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan. Chief Education Officer Kupwara, Abdul Majeed Dar; Dy. CEO, Senior Teaching faculty, staff members, besides, a large number of students attended the exhibition.
On the occasion, the DC inspected various scientific models made by student innovators who had come from different schools of the district. The students demonstrated and explained the functioning of their models to the DC. The models made by them ranged from Rain Water Harvesting System to Transport & Communication and Irrigation System among others.
The DC while checking the scientific models, appreciated the students for their keen interest in science and knowledge. She hoped that the district will touch new heights in the coming time as the students have a good potential to offer innovative ideas to the country.
