DC Kupwara reviews arrangements for Ram Navmi Pilgrimage at Handwara

KUPWARA: Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray today reviewed the arrangements for Ram Navmi Pilgrimage at Mata Badherkali Asthapan Trust Wadipora in Handwara subdivision of Kupwara district, which is being held from March 27 to 30.

The Deputy Commissioner ordered the concerned officers to ensure quality arrangements for the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage.

The Superintendent of Police, Handwara was asked to make adequate security arrangements wherever required, especially in and around the venue. Whileas Executive Engineers of Power and Jal Shakti departments were directed to ensure  un-interrupted power  and water supply during the pilgrimage period.     Assistant Director FCS&CA was asked to ensure availability of adequate essential items and fuel. MC Handwara was asked for sanitation and cleanliness of the venue on a daily basis. Availability of transport facility and availability of medical team along with sufficient medicare was also asked to concerned officers.

Tehsildar/NT concerned will function as Duty Magistrate for the purpose and they will also monitor/coordinate the arrangements to be made by the different departments.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara was asked to function as Nodal Officer for the purpose and shall coordinate with the concerned Ashtapan Committee for smooth conduct of the Pilgrimage.

As per the communication of General Secretary Mata Badherkali Asthapan Trust Wadipora Handwara a pilgrimage to holy Shrine of Mata Bhadrakali Wadipora Handwara is being held on the eve of Ram-Navmi from 27th of March 2023 to 30th of March 2023.
