DC Kupwara reviews preparations for “MERI MAATI MERA DESH” campaign

KUPWARA : Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan today convened a meeting of all concerned officers to review the preparations for conduct of “MERI MAATI MERA DESH” campaign under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in the district.
Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner stressed upon all the departments to ensure utmost coordination among themselves to make the “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign successful. She asked the officers to maintain uniformity in activities to be carried out across all Panchayats/institutions as part of the campaign. She emphasized that the main events will be conducted preferably at Amrit Sarovars as far as possible. She said that Every Panchayat will join in offering collective tribute to the MITTI OF THE MOTHERLAND.
On the occasion, the ADC Kupwara gave a detailed PowerPoint Presentation regarding the “MERI MAATI MERA DESH” campaign. He highlighted various components of the Campaign including Deep Dive-Silaphalakam, Vasudha Vandhan (planting 75 saplings), Veeron Ka Vandan, Hoisting of National Flag and Singing of Rashtragaan and Panch Pran Pledge + Selfie.
