DC Kupwara visits Deedikoot, lauds innovative farmer

KUPWARA : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan Wednesday visited Deedikoot village to inspect a Hi-Tech Poly Green House established under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) by progressive farmer Ayaz Ahmad Khan.
Ayaz Ahmad Khan has implemented an integrated farming system on his farm, generating employment for five local youth and providing a seedling nursery to the community. His innovative efforts yield an income of Rs. 5–6 lakh per season.
DC appreciated the farmer’s entrepreneurial spirit and urged other farmers to adopt modern techniques and leverage government schemes like HADP to boost agricultural productivity and income.
