DC Kupwara visits Pohrupeth, Kralpora.

KUPWARA, DECEMBER 28: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din today visited Pohrupeth of Handwara sub division and condoled the demise of a minor child who died in an incident recently. The Deputy Commissioner offered his condolences with the bereaved family and paid relief of Rs.10000 under Red Cross.

He was accompanied by DDC Member Langate, Khurshid Ahmad and BDC Langate, Showkat Ahmad Pandit.

The Deputy Commissioner also visited Dardpora Kralpora and paid condolences with the bereaved families whose kids were drowned to death recently. He paid relief of Rs.10000 each to the bereaved family under Red Cross Fund.

The Deputy Commissioner also inspected Winter Tutorial centre at Govt Higher Secondary school Unisoo.

On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner distributed masks among the children and exhorted upon them to follow Covid Appropriate Behaviour and ensure usage of mask and maintain social distancing.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner met several public delegations and heard their day to day issues. He assured them for redressal of their genuine issues.
