DC Shopian chairs Rent Assessment Committee meeting

SHOPIAN : A rent assessment committee meeting was held today at Mini Secretariat Shopian in order to discuss the rent assessment cases of various departments for their occupation for establishment of different government utilities and offices. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar.
09 cases were discussed and approved, and rent was assessed as per prevailing schedule of rates.
These assets or accommodations are required for establishment of the Sale and Storage Centre at Chotipora, Sheep Extension Centres at Chitragam & Saidpora, Crewel & Zari Advance Training centre at Checki Keller and Peerpora respectively, HDO Office at Zainapora, Health & Wellness Centre at Tachloo, Police Accomodation at Sarab, and DR/ AR Office at Shopian.
The meeting was attended by JDI (CPO) Shopian, M Rafiq and heads of concerned departments including Health, R&B, Horticulture, Sheep Husbandry, FCS&CA, Police, Handicrafts and Information.
