GANDERBAL : The District Election Officer (DEO) Ganderbal, Shyambir today convened a meeting regarding ongoing Special Summary Revision w.r.t 01-01-2024 as qualifying date with representatives of Registered Political Parties of District Ganderbal.
The meeting was also attended by Electoral Registration Officer (ACR Ganderbal/ SDM Kangan) of both ACs 17- Kangan and 18- Ganderbal and AEROs (All Tehsildars of District Ganderbal).
The detailed discussion was held regarding smooth conduct of SSR 2023-24 and necessary direction were passed to all the stakeholders to gear up the men and machinery to achieve the set target so that no eligible voters be left behind.
Underlying the need for nominating representatives from each party to coordinate with the administration, the representatives of Political Parties were requested to provide the list of Booth Level Agents (BLAs) and were asked to take active participation in the enrollment of new eligible voters.
Moreover, the EROs were directed to constitute the Booth Awareness Groups (BAGs) in their respective constituencies.
