The camps were held at various locations across the district where an extensive Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camp were organized, drawing active participation from the local tribe. Part of a nation-wide initiative, the campaign is being systematically executed across 33 Panchayats of Anantnag district to ensure saturation of all flagship government schemes and services in tribal areas.

Highlights of the camp included awareness sessions on DAJGUA objectives and impact, distribution of IEC material of different departments, showcasing of welfare schemes by government departments, awareness drives on PMAY and scheme briefings from departments including Agriculture, Horticulture, Health, ICDS, Social Welfare, Revenue, Sheep Husbandry and others.

The camp also featured interactive sessions between officials and community members, enabling real-time grievance redressal, service gap identification, and fostering deeper engagement.

Beneficiaries expressed satisfaction for the initiative, acknowledging the government’s commitment to grassroots empowerment.

The initiative is being closely monitored by the District Development Commissioner Anantnag with regular reviews and field visits planned to ensure transparency, effectiveness and saturation of services.
