Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan Outreach camp held at village Amroohi in Teetwal for registration of beneficiaries

KUPWARA : In connection with the ongoing ‘Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan’, an outreach camp was held today in border village Amroohi in Teetwal block to provide awareness of Government schemes to the people and ensure enrollment of the targeted beneficiaries under these schemes. Officers from line departments and large number of people attended the camp.
The Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan which is a fortnight programme is aimed for saturation of centrally sponsored schemes in far flung tribal villages of the district to ensure coverage of the targeted beneficiaries during the Abhiyan.
The District Administration Kupwara have designated 14 tribal villages from 14 blocks of the district which are covered through the conduct of saturation cum enrollment camps during the Abhiyan which was launched on 15th of this month and will culminate on June 30.
Meanwhile, large number of beneficiaries who participated in the camp got awareness of different centrally sponsored schemes and many of them were registered under these schemes during the conduct of the camp.
