DIET Anantnag promotes ‘NIPUN Bharat Mission’ through Janbhagidari

ANANTNAG : The District Institute of Education & Trainings (DIET) in collaboration with Chief Education Officer, Anantnag has initiated a series of Janbhagidari events to promote and implement NIPUN Bharat Mission at the grassroots level.

These events commenced on June 1st in the Schools across the District and will last up to 15th June 2023.

Principal DIET Anantnag, Mohd. Yousuf Jan highlighted the importance, significance, objectives and goals of this national initiative, and enjoined upon the Zonal Education Officers and Heads of Schools to take NIPUN in its real sense, so that the set goals can be achieved.

He further added that it is the collective responsibility of all stakeholders, teachers, Panchayat Raj Institution members, parents and the community to carry forward the mission in a missionary mode, so that the educational landscape of the district may touch the heights.

Principal DIET conducted a series of meetings via digital means with the Heads of PS, MS, ZEOs and the District representatives of the Pratham Foundation and enjoined upon the field functionaries to encourage the children to take part in the activities/ programmes, so that a fear free and enjoyable learning environment can be created in the schools.

About 9500 students, 4500 teachers, 970 Panchayat Raj Institution representatives and 5000 parents participated in the said activities till date.
