Kupwara : The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Kupwara, organized a heartfelt farewell for its principal, Raman Kishore, on his retirement. Known for his humility and simplicity, Kishore’s departure was marked by an emotional gathering attended by teaching and non-teaching staff.
During the event, M Amin Khan, Chairman of JK Teachers Forum, highlighted Kishore’s significant contributions as a dedicated administrator and a generous teacher. Other speakers, including M Iqbal Bhat, Ab Rashid Mir, Fayaz Ahmad Dar, Reyaz Ah Pir (SO), and Mohd Ashrif Bhat (HOD), praised Kishore’s unwavering commitment, humility, and impactful leadership.
In his farewell speech, Kishore reflected on his long career and expressed gratitude for the warmth and hospitality he experienced in Kupwara. “Belonging to Jammu division, I always felt like I was among family here. The love and respect shown by the people of Kupwara, especially the DIET faculty, have left an indelible mark on my heart,” he said.
