District Police Kupwara Held Drug Awareness Rally in Main Town

Kupwara : In its commitment to a drug-free society, District Police Kupwara on thursday held a large Drug Awareness Rally in Main Town Kupwara, sending a strong message against drug abuse. The rally, which commenced from Old Chowk and concluded at Fountain Chowk, saw enthusiastic participation from school going children, local youth, and respected members of the community.
The rally was lead by Rafee Rather-JKPS, DySP Hqr Kupwara, SHO Kupwara, and DO Police Post Bazaar, with participants displaying placards carrying anti-drug messages and raising slogans against drug abuse throughout the march.
At Fountain Chowk, the event concluded with participants taking a pledge to resist drugs and spread awareness about its dangers. The officers highlighted the harmful effects of substance abuse and urged the youth to engage in positive social and recreational activities to build a healthier future.
District Police Kupwara remains steadfast in its fight against drug peddling and addiction and appeals to the public to play an active role by reporting any drug-related activities. Together, we can eliminate this menace and safeguard our society.
