Distt. Admin Bandipora observes Rashtriya Ekta Diwas with Unity Pledge Ceremony

BANDIPORA : In commemoration of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day), the District Administration Bandipora today organized a Unity Pledge ceremony at the Mini Secretariat, Bandipora.
This day, celebrated annually across India, honors the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of national unity and integrity.
The Unity Pledge was administered by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Zaffar Husson Shawl in the presence of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri.
Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Mohammad Ashraf Bhatt, Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Shabir Ahmad Wani, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Irfan Bahadur, District Information Officer (DIO) Aadil Manzoor, and officers and officials from various departments across the district also took part in the pledge ceremony, reiterating their commitment to the unity and integrity of the nation.
Addressing the participants, the DC emphasized the importance of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas in fostering a sense of unity and collective responsibility toward the country’s progress. He urged everyone to work towards promoting harmony and inclusive development in society, embodying the spirit and vision of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
