DLSA B’pora holds meeting/ orientation, training session for SAATHI unit members

BANDIPORA : District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Bandipora today held a meeting-cum-orientation and training session for the SAATHI unit members of District Bandipora at ADR Centre (District Court Complex) Bandipora.
The meeting aimed to discuss and finalize the implementation strategy for the SAATHI campaign, which focuses on identifying and rehabilitating destitute children in the district.
Sheikh Babar Hussain, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, (Chairperson SAATHI unit) Bandipora chaired the meeting which was attended by members of district SAATHI Committee Bandipora.
The session focused on orienting committee members on their roles and responsibilities, training them on conducting surveys and identification processes for destitute children, and outlining next steps for the campaign’s successful execution.
Through this initiative, the DLSA Bandipora aims to identify and rehabilitate destitute children, ensuring their access to education, healthcare, and social welfare schemes.
SAATHI campaign is a significant step towards creating a protective and nurturing environment for vulnerable children in District Bandipora.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from all stakeholders to work together in ensuring the success of the SAATHI campaign and making a meaningful difference in the lives of destitute children.
It emphasized the importance of inter-departmental coordination and community participation in ensuring the success of the SAATHI campaign.
