Doctors Perform Intricate Surgery at SDH Kupwara.

A team of doctors led by Dr. Gulzar Ahmad Bhat have performed an intricate and rare type of surgery at Sub-District Hospital Kupwara.

A medical official told Kashmir Glory that a Laparoscopic CBD Exploration with T-tube drainage in a patient with a very rare anomaly of cystic duct insertion into Right Hepatic Duct was done by Dr. Gulzar Ahmad Bhat Consultant Surgeon.

The team, as per the official included anesthetic Dr A H Sherwani, Medical officer Dr Showkat, Senior Anesthesia Technicians Mohammad Maqbool and GR Bhat, OT Technicians Firdous Ahmad, Nisar Ahmad, Tariq Ahmad, OT Boy Shabir Ahmad and sweeper Nazir Ahmad.

Patient is doing well and is currently in post operation ward, the official added.(GNS)
