The meeting brought together a delegation of senior BJP leaders, the State BJYM President, tribal groups, and local public representatives.

The Minister expressed satisfaction over the increasing pan-India presence of Northeast including Nagaland youth, particularly in aviation and hotel industry. “From cabin crew to front office executives, the presence of youth from Nagaland in national brands and sectors is a testimony to the shift in perception and opportunity,” said Dr. Jitendra Singh.

The discussions focused on strengthening party activities in the region and outlining a future political and developmental roadmap tailored to the aspirations of the youth and local communities. Dr. Jitendra Singh emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s consistent focus on peripheral and border states like Nagaland is now translating into ground-level transformation across sectors.

Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology, Earth Sciences, and MoS in the Prime Minister Office, Dept. of Space and Atomic Energy highlighted emerging opportunities in tourism, film production, and agri-entrepreneurship, noting that Nagaland’s unique cultural identity and natural beauty make it an ideal destination for responsible development and promotion.

The Minister also engaged with tribal leaders, youth groups, and local communities, attending tribal events and listening to ground realities. He stressed the importance of involving youth in shaping the region’s development agenda and encouraged more participation from BJYM and self-help collectives to drive entrepreneurship from the grassroots level.

The meeting concluded with a call for unity, vision, and active on-ground implementation of party and government initiatives, in line with PM Modi’s goal of inclusive and integrated national growth and Viksit Bharat @2047.
