Drug Peddler arrested in Baramulla

Drug Peddler arrested; 260 grams of contraband Charas like substance, Cash Rs. 17,400/- recovered; Vehicle Seized at Bus Stand Uri;Case registered.                                                                                            Police under the supervision of Sh Shokat Ali-JKPS SDPO Uri assisted by Inspr. Imtiyaz Ahmad, SHO PS Uri arrested Drug Peddler namely Ghulam Rasool Malik S/O Abdul Gaffar Malik R/O Salamabad Uri at Bus Stand Uri while conducting patrolling of the Uri Market.

During his personal search 260 grams of contraband Charas like substance and Cash Rs. 17,400/- was recovered from him and was taken into custody immediately. The Vehicle Eco bearing registration No. JK05B-7267 was also seized.                                                              Cases under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Uri and investigations set in motion.
