DySP (P) Rouhan Farooq assumed charge as SHO Villgam

DySP (P) Rouhan Farooq assumed the charge of Station House Officer (SHO) of police station Villagam on Thursday, relieving Inspector Javid Ahmad

Rouhan Farooq, was earlier posted as in-charge SHO Handwara, was transferred and posted as SHO Villagam. The police officer has served in various capacities at several locations.

After assuming the charge, he convened an introductory meeting with the officials and impressed upon them the need to work with dedication and zeal to fulfil the aspirations of the people.

He said the fight against drug addiction, among other social menaces, will be his top priority and vowed to work shoulder to shoulder with the people to eradicate this menace.
