But this year UT administration is all ready to boost tourism during winter in Kashmir. According to latest reports apart from Gulmarg , other tourist places will remain open for winter tourism in kashmir . Indeed a great step by the Govt.

Popular tourist places like sonamarg , Karnah Gurez which remain closed during winters will remain open . This is a step taken after 70 years. all the three places will remain open for tourists in the winter months in a move to boost the region’s tourism sector.
