Pahalgam, known for its beauty and peace, became the scene of a terrible incident that shook the valley. The attack was quickly condemned by people from all parts of Kashmir, regardless of religion, background, or political views. Across cities and towns, protests were held to raise voices against the attack. People came out on the streets holding banners and shouting slogans for justice and peace.

From Srinagar to Anantnag, from Baramulla to Pulwama, the message was loud and clear: “We will not be divided by terror.” Citizens, including students, shopkeepers, teachers, and elders, joined together in these peaceful protests to express their grief and anger. This was not just a protest against the attackers, but also a show of unity — Kashmiris refusing to bow down to fear.

On social media, thousands of people shared their pain and support for the victims. Hashtags like #StandWithPahalgam and #UnitedKashmir filled timelines. Emotional messages, photos of candlelight vigils, and words of peace spread quickly. Everyone, from young people to community leaders, joined the online movement to show that violence has no place in Kashmir.

Political leaders. From different parties and groups, they strongly condemned the attack and offered condolences to the families affected. They also called for calm and peace, urging the public to stay united and not let such events divide them.

Religious leaders also played a big role. They urged people during prayers to reject hate and work for peace. In mosques, temples, and gurdwaras, prayers were said for the victims and for peace to return to the Valley.

This attack was clearly an attempt to create fear and chaos. But it has only brought people closer. It reminded everyone that Kashmir belongs to all, and its people will not let violence break their bonds. The unity seen after the Pahalgam attack is a sign of the people’s deep desire for peace and a better future.
