J&K Government drug free initiative to stop Pakistan’s narco terrorism is an effort in right earnest to check drug smuggling comming from the other side of border (Pakistan). The claim that Govt has a zero tolerance policy towards drug peddlers and traffickers need to be enhanced day by day. At the same time it is a collective responsibility of the society to join drug free campaign to end this menace prevailing in our cities, and villages. The Govt machinery along with public representatives need to create more awareness events to accelerate efforts against drug menace. the recent reports that pakistan is increasing drug smuggling to fund terrorism is a worrying situation. Apart from helping in destabilising peace it will effect youth in large numbers. We have to fight it and keep a vigil on such activities.

A loud appeal must go to the social/ religious leaders to sensitize the public, particularly the youth about the conspiracy and magnitude of the problem and this has to be stoped collectively.
