In a developing technical ecosystem, India stands a strong chance of becoming the hub for digital talent worldwide. Demand for experts in cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence, robots, and data analytics is predicted to be 20 times greater than supply by 2025. As a global talent leader, India has the greatest potential to develop digital talent for the future. With accelerated commercial digital change, India has got enormous opportunities for all companies. The demand environment is quite favourable, and several businesses expect fair growth due to the customer-centric character of India’s software industry. To take the position of global leadership, there are a number of obstacles that must be overcome. The country still has a deficit of digital skills despite expansion. There is a pressing need to upgrade skills starting in primary schools as a result of the new educational paradigm, and there is also a pressing need to increase investment in bridging the digital knowledge gap. Additionally, India continues to be concerned about the epidemic of skilled brain drain, as it prevents India from dominating the digital leadership space. Strict action must be taken against any such institutions that offer nothing more than degrees under the guise of providing skilled and professional education. The institutions are crucial to the development of the nation skilled as many of them are already doing so. Given India’s strength of having the largest Human resource, by making it skilled will give India a competitive advantage over all other countries. To catalyse the next decade of growth and innovation, India must not only consider initiatives focused at growing home-grown talent, but also work on attracting the greatest global talent. This necessitates ongoing investments in retraining and a culture that encourages skill growth. Developing a strong digital talent ecosystem would help us to be more future-ready and take advantage of digital opportunities.
