With winter approaching and the weather forecast for rain and snow in comming days across valley , the power department is the only hope for the people of valley. The power cuts are said to be due to the upgradation of power infrastructure . However like previous years , the power scenario seems to be adding miseries l . People from all parts are complaining for frequent and erratic power cuts . The dip in temperature results with people using more electrical heating appliances and hence more consumption and demand of electricity.

LG adminstration has given assurance to people that power scenario will be stabilised in the valley. LG admin has directed key stakeholders and other departments that they should be far better prepared this winter and to ensure coordinated action plans are in place for uninterrupted power and water supply . The local officers and staff should do every bit to streamline power scenario in the valley.
