Recognizing the power of these people-centric schemes, representatives of empanelled private hospitals in J&K extend their heartfelt appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lieutenant Governor UT of J&K for their visionary approach.
With a resounding endorsement, the private healthcare providers attest that the schemes have not only empowered beneficiaries with cashless treatments but have also fortified the healthcare delivery system, particularly benefiting small and medium-scale healthcare providers.
They further acknowledge the instrumental role played by the State Health Agency J&K, under the dynamic leadership of CEO Sanjiv M Gadkar, IAS, and the unwavering support of Secretary Health & Medical Education Department, Bhupinder Kumar in driving the successful implementation of universal health coverage through these robust schemes.
The private empanelled hospitals express deep gratitude to SHA J&K and IFFCO Tokio GIC for their seamless and timely payment of claims, ensuring hassle-free operations.
Since the inception of the schemes, an astounding amount of Rs. 1012 Cr. has been disbursed to healthcare providers, with approximately 50 percent of it benefiting the private healthcare sector. Such commendable efforts by SHA J&K and insurance companies deserve immense applause from the people of J&K.
The representatives of private healthcare providers also commend SHA J&K for its prompt resolution of grievances, facilitating an efficient healthcare ecosystem.
Notably, hospitals like Ujala Cygnus, Amal Hospital Anantnag, Bee Enn General Hospital Jammu and Quality Care Hospital Kupwara have experienced significant improvements in infrastructure, resulting in enhanced treatment outcomes, all thanks to the support extended by SHA J&K.
The private empanelled hospitals also laud the State Anti-Fraud Unit (SAFU) of SHA J&K for its rigorous and unwavering efforts in combating fraud, thereby safeguarding the scheme’s finances and ensuring the welfare of beneficiaries.
Their “zero tolerance” approach towards fraud is crucial in upholding the integrity and effectiveness of AB PM-JAY and AB PM-JAY SEHAT, they added.
