Srinagar, Dec 24 : National Conference (NC) Provincial Vice President Kashmir and In Charge Constituency Sonwar, Ahsan Pardesi Friday rued immense inconvenience to commuters and impressed upon the administration to give flip to public transport service available to commuters on Lal Chowk-Brein and Harwan route.
Expressing concern over the plight of commuters on the route, Pardesi, as per a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that sumo services from Lal Chowk to Brein area are very erratic and from last month, the services are more hit, causing severe inconvenience to people of Brein.
Similarly, the same is the plight till Harwan stop. “The locals have to suffer particularly during the morning and evening hours, most of the time they are left abandoned due to inadequate sumo services,” he said.
“I request Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, SSP traffic and RTO Kashmir to look into the matter and take necessary measures. The measures will go a long way in decreasing the woes residents of Brein and till Harwan and adjoining areas,” he added—(KNO)
