Baramulla : Touseef Raina, former President of the Baramulla Municipal Council, has announced the formation of a new group called United Varmul, and appealed to the people of Baramulla to vote for its candidates in the upcoming municipal elections.
Further, Raina called upon public spirited citizens of Baramulla who would like to work hard with sincerity and honesty for a better developed Baramulla to come forward to contest various wards on behalf of the United Varmul group.
He urged interested citizens to get in touch with the group, either personally or through the group’s Facebook page.
Raina also called upon the people of the town who would like to see a better future of honesty, integrity, and hard work to campaign for the group’s candidates.
He pointed out that, unlike established parties, the group does not have funds or backing, and therefore depends on public support.
He added that people of the town have seen the work that he and other leading members of the group have done over the previous two years, when he was the President of the Municipal Council. He pointed out that a lot of town citizens had warmly appreciated the work done during this period.
