Full Dress Rehearsal for Republic Day held across district Kupwara

ADC unfurls National Flag at DPL Kupwara, Sub Registrar at Handwara, Tehsildars at Tangdar, Sogam

KUPWARA : Full dress rehearsal for Republic Day celebration 2024 was held at District Police Lines Kupwara where Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kupwara, Ghulam Nabi Bhat unfurled the National Flag, inspected the parade and took salute at march-past presented by contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, IRP, Home Guards, FP and school children.

Addressing the function, the ADC highlighted the historical background and importance of the Republic Day and the Indian Constitution.
The ADC also highlighted various major developments which have been made during the current financial year in the district.
A variety of cultural programmes were presented by the school children during the function.
On the occasion, ASP, Farhat Jeelani, ACP, DIO, DSP DAR, DSP Hq, Civil and Police officers were present.
AT HANDWARA, full dress rehearsal was held at District Police Lines Handwara where Sub Registrar Handwara, Arshid Ahmad Khan unfurled the National Flag, inspected the parade & took salute at march past presented by contingents from JKP, JKAP ,BSF, CRPF, IRP and Police band.
Officers from civil administration, police department and other concerned were present on the occasion.
Full dress rehearsal was held in Karnah Sub-Division where Tehsildar Karnah, Syed Eyad Qadri unfurled the National Flag and took salute at March Past. Meanwhile, school children also presented colourful programmes.
Full dress rehearsal was also held at Sogam in Lolab sub division in which Tehsildar Sogam unfurled the National Flag and took salute at March Past. Meanwhile, school children presented different cultural programmes.
Full dress rehearsal functions were also held in various educational institutions across the district.
