Ganderbal police organised cyber awareness programme at Govt Degree College Kangan

GANDERBAL : On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS, Ganderbal Police organised Cyber Crime awareness programme at Govt. Degree College Kangan. The event was chaired by SDPO Kangan Shri Syed Yasir Qadri-JKPS accompanied by SHO Police Station Kangan Mr. Turk Zahoor, Mr. Gulzar Ahmad Incharge IT Section DPO Ganderbal. Moreover, other officers were also present on the said occasion.

The participants included general public and Students of District Ganderbal were made aware regarding various Cyber Crimes, threats and fraud prevalent in the Society. Through the medium of this programme, general public were made aware about Cyber Crimes and frauds related to finance, hacking, spam calls and other fake Social media networking sites.

On the conclusion of the said event, Principal and other Staff members of GDC Kangan and general public appreciated Ganderbal Police for conducting such awareness programmes.
