Kupwara : SVEEP programme was organized at Government Boys Higher Secondary school (BHSS) Nachyan Karnah today under the guidance of District Election Officer Kupwara Ms. Ayushi Sudan and District Nodal Officer SVEEP Abdul Majeed.
Speaking on the occasion, Nodal officer SVEEP and AMF AC -Karnah Mr Rana Shah Mohammad highlighted the importance of SVEEP activities in creating awareness about electoral participation.
During the programme, students were educated about the importance of voting and their role in the democratic process. They were also informed about the various initiatives taken by the Election Commission of India (ECI) to increase voter turnout and ensure free and fair elections.
The students actively participated in the programme and asked several questions about the electoral process. They also pledged to become active voters and encourage others to do the same. The programme was a success and helped in creating awareness about the importance of electoral participation among the students.
