Google to Automatically Delete Your Location History, giving users more control over their privacy

Google is taking a step towards greater user privacy by automatically deleting older location history. This move aims to give users more control over their data and reduce the amount of personal information stored by the tech giant.

While this is a positive development, it’s important to note that Google will still collect location data for essential services like traffic updates and personalized recommendations.
To completely opt out of location tracking, users can disable Location History in their Google Account settings.
