Srinagar, Sept 10, KDC: A Paramilitary trooper of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and a lady were injured after militants lobbed a grenade on security forces in Chanapora area of Kashmir capital Srinagar on Friday.
A Police officer while confirming to news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) said that militants lobbed a grenade towards CRPF BN 29 in Chanapora. In this incident a CRPF trooper identified as Constable Jitender Kumar and a civilian namely Yasmeena Rashid wife of Javid Ahmad, a resident of Chanapora received minor splinter injuries. She has been admitted in SMHS hospital for treatement.
He said the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers adding that a case is being registered in this regard. (KDC)
