Handwara Police Conducts Career Guidance and Counseling Program at Govt. Boys High School Magam

Handwara : In a significant initiative aimed at guiding young students towards a bright future, the Handwara Police conducted a Career Guidance and Counseling Program today at Govt. Boys High School, Magam.

The session was attended by students of Class 9th and 10th, along with the school staff and media personnel. Officers from Handwara Police interacted with the students, providing valuable insights into academic planning and career opportunities, particularly in competitive examinations.

During the session, the students were briefed about the importance of Class 6th-10th in building a strong foundation for competitive exams. They were advised to focus on NCERT books and prioritize conceptual clarity over rote learning.

Emphasizing the role of perseverance and hard work, the officers highlighted that there are no shortcuts to success. The students were encouraged to stay dedicated and committed to their goals.

Furthermore, the police team provided a general overview of major competitive exams such as UPSC, PSCs (UTPSC), and other government job exams. Important aspects like optional subject selection and preparation strategies were also discussed.
