Illicit timber seized by Budgam Police, 03 arrested

Budgam :  During naka checking at Kanir Chadoora, Police Party of Police Station Chadoora intercepted one vehicle Santro bearing registration number DL3CAL- 3727 with three persons on board. During search of said vehicle, police recovered 56 Sawns of illicit timber 14-Cft (Kairoo) from the car. All three persons were arrested on spot and vehicle used for commission for crime has also been seized.The arrested persons were subsequently identified as:-

01)Fayaz Ahmad Mir (driver) son of Gulam Qadir
02) Jehangir Fayaz Mir son of Fayaz Ahmad
03)Rayees Ahmad Rather son of Nazir Ahmad all residents of Kanir Chadoora.

Case FIR number 51/2023 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Chadoora and investigation taken up.
