Inter-State Youth Exchange Programme 2024-25 Begins in Srinagar

Srinagar : The much-anticipated Inter-State Youth Exchange Programme 2024-25 commenced today in Srinagar, bringing together 27 young participants, both male and female, from five districts of Rajasthan—Jaipur, Nagaur, Sawai Madhopur, Alwar, and Jodhpur. This initiative aims to foster leadership, cultural understanding, and national integration among the youth through various interactive activities.

The programme, scheduled from March 6 to March 10, includes a series of lectures on leadership and personality development, field visits, interactive sessions, cultural exchange activities, language learning, and sightseeing. These activities are designed to enhance the participants’ exposure, knowledge, and mutual understanding of diverse traditions and lifestyles across regions.

The inaugural ceremony witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, including Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Srinagar Syed Ahmad Kataria, Commandant JKAP 1Q BN Raja Nighat Aman, District Youth Officer (DYO) Khushal Gupta, and Assistant Programme Advisor (APA) Gulzar Ahmad, among others. Their insights and encouragement inspired the participants to make the most of this learning opportunity.

Speaking on the occasion, ADC Srinagar Syed Ahmad Kataria emphasized the significance of such exchange programmes in strengthening national unity and fostering youth empowerment. He lauded the initiative for providing a platform where young minds from different backgrounds can interact, share experiences, and build lasting friendships.

This programme serves as a bridge for cultural understanding, offering the youth of Rajasthan an opportunity to explore the rich heritage of Jammu and Kashmir while promoting a sense of unity and national integration.

The five-day event promises to be a transformative experience for all participants, equipping them with valuable knowledge and skills that will contribute to their personal and professional growth.
