Kupwara : The Jammu & Kashmir Teachers Forum, Kupwara, held a felicitation ceremony to honour the newly elevated Medical Superintendent of GMC Handwara, Dr Aijaz Ahmad.
Sahil Bashir, District President of JKTF Kupwara, along with his team, presented a bouquet and a certificate of appreciation to Dr Aijaz Bhat. The ceremony was attended by executive members and the zonal president of JKTF Kupwara.
Bashir praised Dr Aijaz for his dedication and commitment to quality healthcare and emphasized the importance of collaboration between the education and healthcare sectors. Ahmad expressed his gratitude and highlighted the need for ongoing cooperation to address community challenges.
The executive members also requested improvements in healthcare facilities at primary health centres in remote villages of the border district. The ceremony underscored the Forum’s dedication to recognizing professionals who positively impact their communities.
