Kupwara : In a bid to reach out the destitute and underprivileged families here in Lolab sub-division, Kafila Foundation in Coordination with Haifa Welfare Foundation Disbursed Essential Commodities Among Underprivileged Families.

Day 5 of DA-JGUA witnesses enthusiastic participation at Satrina, Kangan

The joint organisation had undertaken an initiative to provide food & other essential commodities to the underprivileged families who have been the most affected by the ongoing health & financial crunch.

Under the initiative, the organisation collectively carried out “Ration Distribution Drive” in which they distributed food relief measures for daily wages labourers, deserving & destitute families.

In the opening phase of their ration distribution drive, Kafila Foundation & Haifa Welfare Foundation disbursed over 50- food ration kits in different locations including Cheerkote, Isgund, Khumriyal, Kanthpora and it’s adjacent areas. The essential requirements were directly distributed to the families, where from ther were receiving distress calls.

“This initiative was to assist the poor & needy people who find it very difficult to make daily requirements and can’t even manage to arrange the basic amenities like food for their families”, adding “We are committed to work for the welfare of the people in upcoming time”, the heads of both the organisation said in a joint statement,
