As a part of Public outreach programme, today a Police community partnership group meeting was held at town hall Qazigund. The meeting was chaired by SSP kulgam *Dr.G.V Sundeep Chakravarthy-IPS* among other Police officers in which representatives and prominent respectables of general area of Qazigund Participated.

A warm welcome as a token of love was given to SSP kulgam by the public of Qazigund. SSP Kulgam was accompanied by Addl SP NHW Shri Majid Malik-JKPS, SDPO Qazigund Shri Govind Rattan-JKPS, DySP PC Mirbazar Shri Sajad Malik-JKPS, Tehsildar Qazigund & SHO Qazigund.

Public from all corners of Qazigund including respectable citizens,DDC members, BDCs, members of PRIs, ward members of municipal committee Qazigund, Auqaf committees, chowkidars, traders federations and various market associations attended said meeting.

During the interaction participants raised various issues of public importance. SSP kulgam listened to the grievances patiently and thereafter assured them that their genuine grievances will be resolved on priority and every possible help will be provided to the people of the area and issues will be taken up with concerned departments for their early redressal. While speaking SSP Kulgam laid focus on Community Policing, and requested people to provide factual information also he assured the people of the area that massive sports activities will be organized in future to indulge youth to hone their skills.

The participants were requested to cooperate with Police and Administration in maintaining L&O/drug menace in the area and in identifying anti-national/ social elements who always try to disrupt the peaceful environment.

The public of Qazigund thanked SSP kulgam for visiting Qazigund and conducting such a meeting and building a bridge of trust between Police and Public. Public of Qazigund requested for regular meetings in future as well.
