Kulgam Feb 14: This winter carnival was today thrown open by Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, P K Pole from snow-covered Aharbal Tourist destination by flagging off trekkers group and by inaugurating several snow games.
This event is organized by District Administration in collaboration with Aharbal Development Authority, tourism Department and Forest Division Kulgam.
The event was attended by DDC Chairperson, Mohd Afzal Parrey,Deputy Commissioner,Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, SSP, Dr.G.V.Sandeep,DDC member Manzgam,D.K.Marg, President MC Kulgam, members of PRIs and local people and sports persons.
Speaking on the occasion, the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir said that the Government intends to develop Aharbal at par with other tourist destinations in Kashmir.
