Kupwara Police Arrests Bootlegger; 13 Bottles of Illicit Liquor Seized

Kupwara : Continuing its drive against illegal activities, Police Post Bazar apprehended a bootlegger and recovered 13 bottles of illicit liquor during a naka checking.A police team from Police Post bazar while conducting naka checking near geerjatchi intercepted and apprehended an individual identified as Ashik Hussain khatana S/O mohammad din khatana R/O Kralpora .During the search, 13 bottles of illegal liquor were recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, a case FIR No. 110/2025 U/S 50 Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kupwara, and further investigation has been set into motion.
