Today a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) Meeting was held by *Kupwara Police* to strengthen the Police-Public relations in Police Station kupwara.

The meeting was chaired by Sr.Superintendent of Police Kupwara *Yougal Manhas besides, ASP Kupwara pradeep singh, DYSP HQRS *Rashid Younis-*, DDC Hyhama sonaullah khan,BDC’s were also present in the meeting.

The meeeting was attended by the respectables of the area,Panchs, Sarpanches,Members of Trade, transport who put up various issues of public importance.

Speaking on the occasion, SSP Kupwara said that such meetings are conducted to solicit the suggestions and support of people for better Policing and would be conducted in future as well.

He also thanked the people for participating in the meeting and providing valuable suggestions.

Referring to the grievances highlighted by the participants, he assured that these issues will be taken up with the concerned authorities for immediate redressal and added that police will provide its legal support as and when required for the betterment of the society accordingly.

SSP Kupwara also said that he and his Team officers are round the clock available for redressal of Public Grievances.

The participants were stressed to cooperate with Kupwara Police in maintaing law and order in the area and in identifying anti national and anti social elements who always try to disrupt the peaceful environment.

The meeting concluded with note of Thanks and Appreciations from public side.
