Leh: Winter vacation announced in phased manner from Dec 05

Schools to reopen on March 01, 2023: CEO

The education department in Leh district of Ladakh Union Territory on Monday ordered winter vacation in phased manner for the students’ upto higher secondary level from December 05, 2022.

Chief Education Officer (CEO) Leh has issued an order in this regard, a copy of which lies with the news agency The order said that the students studying in pre-primary to 8th class shall observe winter vacation from December 05.

The order further said that the students from Class 9th to 12th shall, studying in both government and private schools, shall observe winter vacation from December 15th.

He also said that the schools will reopen after winter break on March 01, 2023.

“Classes from pre-primary to 8th to close from Dec 5th, and class 9th-12th to close from Dec 15th. Further, all schools are scheduled to reopen on March 1st, 2023,” he said—(KNO)
