LeT pays tribute to slain militant, supports JRL’s strike call
Srinagar, Feb 12: Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Mehmood Shah has paid tribute to the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militant Bilal Ahmed Rather from Kakpora who was killed in an encounter with government forces.
A spokesperson of LeT in a statement issued to Global kashmir quoted Shah as saying: “Although we are grieved over the martyrdom of Bilal Ahmed but we are motivated over the loss of occupational forces’ commandos.”
“The morale, motives and ambitions of freedom fighters are higher than Himalayas. No power on earth can suppress such emotions,” Shah said.
LeT chief also strongly supported the strike call from Hurriyat leadership on February 13 and 14 and said that it is the “matter of Kashmir’s existence”.
“India can never change the demographic existence and recognition of Jammu Kashmir; otherwise it will have to bear severe consequences. The people will always react to such wrongdoings and vicious motives,” Lashkar chief said.
