Kupwara : On the directions of District Election Officer (DEO), Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan (IAS), The District Nodal Officer Sweep, Kupwara today organized a comprehensive training session for the Volunteers of NCC, NSS and youth groups at the town Hall Kupwara.
The primary focus of the training Session was to acquaint the Volunteers with detailed knowledge on essential election procedures.
District Level Master Trainers, (DLMTS), while imparting training to the Volunteers, made them aware about guidelines and norms of election process and their role in assistance for the smooth, free, fair and more inclusive election process.
Speaking on the occasion, DLMTs highlighting the role of the volunteers said that they shall be tasked with assisting specially-abled persons, senior citizens,vulnerable and other special voters and making their easy access into polling stations so that they can exercise their franchise with ease and comfort.
