Lolab Admin Distributes Essential Commodities Among Fire Victims In Dever Margi

Kupwara: Lolab administration on Thursday distributed essential commodities among the fire victims of Dever Mergi Lolab.
On the directions of deputy commissioner Kupwara Ayushi Sudan, Lolab administration led by Tehsildar Sogam Saqib Murtaza and Naib Tehsildar Sogam alongside with his team distributed essential commodities among the fire victims in Dever Mergi Lolab. The essential commodities commodities includes blankets, kitchen kits, and two cheques and other necessary items were also provided to the affected families.
“We are most thankful to the Lolab administration, deputy commissioner kupwara in particular, for remaining neck to neck with us during these tough times. We are short of words to extend our gratitude to the administration “, a family member of the fire victim said.
“As soon as the news of the fire spread far & wide, the administration responded very quickly and sent the fire and emergency services on time and brought the fire under control and prevented it spreading to other structures,” another family member said.
“Since Saqib Murtaza has joined as Tehsildar Sogam, the entire area is feeling proud to have an Officer like him. He has a friendly approach and is a down to earth person,” a local of the area said.
Notably, a residential house belonging to two brothers, Ghulam Hassan Mir and Mohammad Shafi Mir, at Margi Dever Lolab had gutted in a major fire mishap during the intervening night of Wednesday & Thursday.
