Aadil Manzoor peer a 23-year-old hailing from Halmatpora village of Kupwara is an International player of Ice Stock. Being good at many other sports too like Rugby, Punchak slot Aadil has chosen Ice stock as his Carrier.

Aadil represented the country in international competition in Australia in 2018 and got 10th rank. He has played 07 national, 07 state and dozens of district competitions. Noting his good skills and talent Aadil headed an Ice Stock team for Khelo India 2021 event at Gulmarg , a Central Govt Initiative to boost the moral of highly talented but unprivileged players across India.

In the second edition of the Khelo India National Winter Games he won 3 gold medals for J&K in ice stock events.

Aadil Manzoor Peer secured 4 Gold Medals for J&K in different 4 events, 1 in Long Distance and 3 with Team in Team Game, Team Target and Team Distance events respectively, in Summer National Ice stock sport Championship.

Kupwara Terriers Commanding Officer, Col Swaraj Bhattacharya, felicitated the 8 winning players of Kupwara IceStockSport who participated in the ‘Summer Ice Stock National Championship 2021’ held at Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Stadium, Srinagar from 9 to 12 Sept’21 under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council Organised by Indian Ice Stock Sport Federation in collaboration with J&K IceStockSport Association the event saw 300 players from 20 states participating in the four-day national championship.

The team from Kupwara (4 girls and 4 boys) bagged 19 medals including 7 gold, 11 silver and 1 bronze in individual and team games.

Nuzhat Jan (14 years Female, Batpora) 3 silver medals.Muskaan Sheraz (14 years female, Zangli) 2 silver and 1 bronze medal.Saleeqa Tariq (14 years female, Trehgam) 2 silver medals. Zaheen Mushtaq (17 years female, Trehgam) 2 silver medals. Mohammad Azhar (13 years Male, Sulkote) 1 silver medal.Zubair Ahmed Sofi (19 years Male, Sohipora) 1 bronze medal.
