Naib Tehsildar Magam, Mr. G. M. Dar, attended the event as the Chief Guest, while the Incharge Principal of Boys Higher Secondary School Magam also marked his presence.

The program began with a warm welcome address by Mr. Ab. Lateef Lone, Headmaster of the host school, who emphasized the importance of awareness in preventing drug addiction. The event proceedings were smoothly anchored by Ibn Shahbaz.

The audience was enriched with insightful talks by Dr. M. Shafi Lone and Dr. Farhat Banday, who shared their valuable knowledge on the psychological and physical impacts of drug abuse, and offered practical guidance on prevention and rehabilitation.

As part of the campaign, banners carrying the powerful message — “No to Drugs, Yes to Life” — were displayed, and all attendees took a pledge to support a drug-free society.

The event was held in collaboration with Empowering Widows, Orphans & Disable Peoples Trust UT J&K, a registered public trust under the Public Trusts Act 1977 (Reg. No. 267), committed to the upliftment of marginalized sections of society.

The program concluded with a collective resolve by students, faculty, and officials to carry forward the mission of a Nasha Mukt (Drug-Free) Jammu & Kashmir.
