Militant Associate From Kulgam Arrested In Baramulla

Srinagar : A militant associate along with arms and ammunition was arrested at Janbazpora Binner road in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.

A top police officer told that on specific input a joint team of Police and security forces apprehended one militant associate at Janbazapoda Binner road.

He has been identified as Showkat Ahmad Bhat resident of Naganad Damhal Hanji Pora Kulgam. From his possession one AK rifle, a magazine and other ammunition was recovered, he said.

A case has been registered in this regard and investigation has been taken up, the officer added.
